Then I'll Be Smiling

I have been going crazy because I have been trying to analyze a critical essay called Black Feminist Theory and the Representation of the "Other." This is for my African American Literature course, which is interesting but also, some of the critical essays we read for this course are so in-depth and the writing has language of their own. This definitely stretches the mind to think outside of the box in the broad perspective, but also you have to narrow the mind to wrap your ideas around the authors. I am almost finished with the critical analysis but believe me, it has taken me longer than the orignial plan of finishing it. I have gotten side tracked so many different times, doing different things (such as this blog) and taking pictures, going to get coffee, cooking lunch, so on and so forth. Hence the next picture that will be following this... notice my post-it notes and what the words are... I think you can read them, if not the words are: rings, silly, and funny.

Just too bored with writing the essay, you can see how far that gets you... not far at all. Even when you try to study with a friend, it does not get far at all. Some refocus you, some don't...they take pictures and distract you (ha, ha)!!

Once this paper is done... I will be smiling... okay, I am still smiling!
