Wow! What a day! As most of you know, I am waiting, wishing, praying, etc... for something to come up for a job opening; even if it isn't teaching exactly, I would want to do it. This morning, well I guess afternoon, I had a job interview for a tutoring job with a private company. I was going to this interview for the experience, more or less, because the tutoring jobs would be in the Kent/Renton/ Bellevue area. As I met the two directors of this company, they told me I was 'perfect' for the job, but they will not hire me because I live too far away. The good news: the directors of that area are forwarding and recommending me for a job in the Tacoma/ Puyallup area (yay) because they feels as if I would do a phenomenal job! Keep your fingers crossed!
Today for training I did very random things. When I went through teaching interview prep sessions, they told us to work out before interviews to use the endorphines to our advantage and so you look awake. By the time I woke up, got my bootay in gear, I was not going to have time for a full on work out. Therefore, I just went for a jog around the neighborhood. It was a beautiful morning with the sun out. Jogged about 2 miles (again)... just an easy jog to get me going. The odd thing, I went on this jog right after breakfast, but I didn't get any stomach aches. No complaints, but a tad odd.

2. Honey, Let Me Sing You a Song by Matt Hires
3. Here It Goes Again by Ok Go
4. Before the Worst by the Script
5. Apologize (remix) by OneRepublic
I then went to the interview and started to become really excited! Then, I had a ton of enegry to use to my advantage. I needed to work on strength today (especially in the legs). On the eliptical with every 10-15 minutes I up'd the resistance three or four notches, starting with a resistance of 5. I did this for about an hour.
After, I walked about a half mile to cool down so I could lift some weights before spinning. Lifted weights for about 30 minutes; mostly for the legs. Off to the spinning room for at least 30-40 minutes of endurance/strength spinning. It kicked my behind today. Some days are easier than others, but today was a tough day on the legs. To finish out the workout, I ran a mile as a cool down. And mom wonders why it takes me so long at the gym!
If I was to redo today, I think I would have ran a bit more/ subbed the spinning for running. Overall, I call today a success.

Sounds like a great opportunity! I have a friend that runs her own math tutoring business. It's just part time because she has a little one at home, but it's great income for her family. She mostly tutors home school kids, when their parents need someone else to take over the math pieces. Good luck!
