But even if he is almost 25, he still bugs me and he is almost chocking me in this picture. I don't think the duties as an older brother- bugging me and trying to kill me, will ever completely vanish. I can always hope and pray for it to go away... we will see if my hopes and dreams come true.
Mom and I were able to run away from the "heat" and go see Mama Mia. If you asked mom how much she liked it, well I am pretty sure now she is able to sing the entire soundtrack for you- if you asked her to. I don't think the men of the universe will appreciate it, it was definitely a chick flick.
The other big even that happened while I was home was Amber's bachelorette party. She isn't getting married until October but, she wanted to have it during the summer so most of her close friends would be able to come. Girls came from everywhere! From Pullman (me) to Pasco, to Port Orchard, to Spokane. We probably could have covered the entire state...

This is the view from the hotel room which we stayed at. Amber's dad was extremely generous and paid for two hotel rooms for the girls that didn't want to drive back at night to stay at. There was probably 14 girls total and 7 of us stayed at the hotel. Most lived in Seattle so they were able to make it home- not me, plus Amber drove me up to Seattle. Needless to say that isn't the point.
It was great to see all of the friends that I have made throughout the years at college. Some, I haven't seen for a couple years. These two girls that I am with in this next picture are two I met my sophomore year at WSU. We all worked at the same coffeeshop-Zoe's.

It was almost like a Zoe's reunion, there was probably about 6 of us that worked there at the bachelorette party.
Anyways I had a wonderful time at home, too bad it had to end so quickly BUT it was worth it to go home!
