I am blessed with amazing friends. It is the stereotype which college students are rude and immature and so on, so forth. I will disagree with that statement. Saturday night I went over to my friend's apartment, Nicole and Heather were there. They both made dinner which consisted of seasoned Tuna, steamed green beans, and red potatoes. We chit chatted for a while and started to watch a movie. In the middle of the movie, Heather jumped off of the couch because she recieved a text message, then right afterwards Nicole's phone rang with a text. Nicole snickered a little bit and then we continued with the movie. After about two minutes, Nicole gets up and walks to the kitchen, she is making a little bit of noise and then comes out with a cake and lite candles. They were suprising me with a cake- a great Snicker's cake. It was very rich, but sooooo good. Unfortunately Nicole has a dog and it was getting my allergies all out of wack, so I had leave.

After that, I came home and my roommates were having a "girls night" with some of their friends, I wasn't invited because earlier they asked how long I would be gone for, when I was leaving, and asking if for sure I was leaving when I was. I am curious as to why I am dealing with this, what my lesson I am learning for this is.
So I left again once I got home, I just needed to grab something and headed over to Keeley's apartment. Keeley and I decided to go meet up with Evan and Gary, which is always a good time. Today I get a text message from Keeley asking if I was going to be around my apartment since she wants to give me my birthday gift, not that she hasn't already done enough! She told me she was having technical difficulties... but this is what it turned out to be...

I am not sure if you can really see what it looks like, but what is is... a picture in the middle is (left to right) Erica, Keeley, and I from the Christmas cocktail party. Around it is fun moments and memories that happened throughout the year so far. I will find a place to hang it or put it up in my room. It was extremely thoughtful!

Another amazing friend is Alex. He missed my birthday this weekend so he said he wants to make it up to me. This afternoon he called me up to inform me that he is going to make dinner for me this week. Alex doesn't cook... at all, but he said he is going to try his hardest and will make something amazing. I will take pictures of this event, it should be fun and the food will be interesting.

Switching topics... in my ESL class, the class we are talking about students with disabilities and the laws not to get sued. The professor divided us up into groups for the semester so when we hold our mock Individual Education Program meetings and presentations, we will be with the same group. Anyways, he wanted to know our names and who is in our groups, to do this he had me write names and have my peers stand in a line, then I would post their name above them. Well, Daven is in my class, he is pretty tall... 6' something... I would say at least 6' 7'', I definitely had to get on a chair to post it above it. HA
