Double Deuce Part DEUCE

As previously posted, I said I would post some pictures and stories about my birthday. I am lucky enough, as is, to have only a single class on Friday which is from 11 until noon. Although my body won't let me sleep in anymore, it was nice to have the option for just one last time before the semester truly starts. Another nice birthday present was that the snow was melting, who could ask for more?!

Anyways...
After I finished getting ready for the day, I decided to leave a little early for class so I could stop by the Bookie to see if my online course books had arrived. After I talked to the nice girl, she went to the back to see if they were there (I bet you can guess where this is going...). As she walked back out, she was empty handed saying that they were not there which proceeded with asking when I ordered the books-- over a week ago. Confused, she then told me that they should have arrived by now, that is what I thought too! She went to the back to look one more time, but again, she came out empty handed. Trying to figure out where they ended up, I told her there was another girl at the university with the same exact name, age, and major. If she had ordered some books, the Bookie might have handed her the wrong ones. The girl went to talk to her boss and he said I was on the UPS system but not the spreadsheet (whatever that means)... So we continued a conversation about where my books could be located, finally after talking for about 20 minutes, he checked one last spot and guess what? They were there!!! YAY!
After I left the Bookie, I went to my single class of the day which was ESL- learning the laws about teaching, mores specifically about disabilities acts and so forth. As I walked in one of my classmates said happy birthday to me. Then our professor, Matt, turned and looked at me. Matt, a very excited man to begin with, said happy birthday which then informed me he wanted the class to sing happy birthday to me. I declined the nice offer and said that was certainly not needed.

Fast forward... through the boring parts of the day...
On Thursday one of my good friends, Keeley, and I decided that we were going to go out to dinner. Keeley picked me up and headed out to dinner. Our first stop was Applebee's (yes, we have fine choices to pick from in the Pullman, Moscow area), but the wait for a table was going to be extrodinarily long. Instead we changed our minds and headed to Wingers which was only about a 10 minute. We had a great dinner, good conversation. When we arrived back in Pullman we decided that we should most likely get ready for the rest of the evening. As I was talking to Keeley, I get a call from Evan (let me remind you, I was not in my apartment). I pick up the phone to an excited Evan asking me where I was. I told him earlier that day to come over around 9:30 and at that time it was about 8:30. Apparently Evan got the wrong times and barged in on my roommates yelling Happy Birthday... etc... All three confused, Evan figured out I wasn't there and that he was an hour early.
Anyways Keeley bought (she said she wanted to make me a cake but didn't have time) a Boston Creme Cake to blow candles out on. So we took that from her apartment to mine, and people were starting to come over. Lucky enough I was able to have a piece, but we did leave it out so the rest has to be tossed out. So around 9:30 I had some friends over to just hang out. Yes Aunt Sue, the Martini glass with the LED light was a huge hit. I had it out on the counter and Gary found it, asked what it was and then was mezmorized by it, as was the rest of the clan. So in parallel to Christmas Eve., they were a huge success! So here are the pictures of the glass. The cake slipped in there too!!!
I had a wonderful birthday, everybody did something that made it just a little more special.
So again, THANKS!!!
