It was just about 2:40 and it wasn't raining at the moment, YAY! What running stuff should I put on today, is what I had on good enough, or will it start to pour right after I step outside of the door? I look at my MP3 player, excited because I put on a couple new songs on the playlist, the last couple songs were the new ones. As I exited the house, I looked up at the sky and I thought, well I can definitely beat the rain!
1. Eagles: The Boys of the Summer I really hope that I will make it home before the rain. I remember Tuesday how I ended
up, soaking wet and a little cold. I really also hope that the dog that lives in the house off to the left (that you can't see) is not outside. He doesn't follow or chase after me, but he is a little scary. Alright, I need to also stretch since my legs are finally warmed up, it sure feels good to be outside and in the brisk air. Should I make up a new route today or stick to an old one? I guess I will find out.

2. Jordin Sparks Tattoo: I think that I have all of the Christmas presents ready to go. I have no idea, still, how I am going to wrap mom's present. Maybe I won't wrap it, I can just leave it how it is and then give it to her... maybe. I still need to put a bow on Brett's present, it came off... and I think even if I tried to put it back on I think it will fall off again, I will have to just re-bow it. Re-bow, that isn't even gramatically or even close to being correct in English. Oh well, whatever...
3. Kanye West Stronger: There used to be so many different people I knew that lived down this road... Paul, Jill, Danielle, Mama Bear (girl scouts)... etc...

I wonder what happened to them. Well I guess I kind of know, but it is the whole moving on with lives.
Whoa, wait! Do I have clean black clothes for work tomorrow? I know I only brought a pair or two of black pants back with me, a pair which are bermuda shorts, that I like the best. Maybe I can just wear those tomorrow, I didn't freeze last time. Plus, it should be busier than what it was on Monday, at least I hope so.
4. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Jitter Bug (Chip's Ahoy song) I really like swing music, the beat is fun and it makes me happy to run to. Do I want to get extra dirty, run a couple miles on the track? It might not be that bad, right?

Ah, I remember recess here. Playin on the big toys... running around, playing soccer with the boys when the other girls were playing "Mississippi" with the big cherry red bouncy balls. And then of course kick ball, who doesn't like kick ball? It was always fun when we had a fun Friday thing in class, as a treat we would go play outside, usually kickball. We didn't do it a whole lot, however, I remember we did it mostly with Mr. Hedman.
5. Maroon 5 Wake Up Call Oh no, cramp! No, no... maybe if I breathe deeper and longer it will go away. Nope, not yet... perhaps if I ignore the whole cramp thing, just keep running. Okay, bad idea. Whatever, gotta walk this puppy out. And maybe I will stretch again. There are still a lot of cars in the parking lot for the students getting out at noon (according to mom). Keep your fingers crossed, maybe they are teachers and they are planning or doing something!!! I am making fun of my own profession that I am going in. Ha.
6. Seventh Day Slumber Shattered Life I think that is enough going around the track, I feel like a gerbil going around in circles and not going anywhere, too monotonous.

7. Baby Bash Cyclone I am really not in the mood for this song. Good running song, I am not enjoying it right now. Hmph. (Running past some limos) I wonder how well they do owning their own limo car service company. I guess pretty well since it seems like they have had them for quite a while.
Once more around the block? That will make it about 4 miles or 5 since I didn't go up the other hilly area twice like I normally do.

8. Jason Mraz Geek in the Pink Alright I will continue one once more. Up the hill a second time, here I go! I can't believe the weather is ACTUALLY holding out right now, amazing! Yesterday, well, yesterday was just a nasty day, weather wise. At least I wasn't outside much. Just running the errands in the morning before heading up to Seattle. I am glad I was able to go up to Seattle and see friends. I hadn't seen them for quite a while. At least I was able to do it now!

9. Ray Charles Hit the Road Jack I wonder if I gave a
psychologist my playlist and my thoughts during these songs if they could figure out something about me... haha. Coming to the intersection... last time I went to the left, this time.......... I will take a right, different scenery. Wow, I am already here, that was pretty quick. I think I felt a rain drop, uh oh, I better hurry up. I don't want to get caught in the rain, or if I do for not long.
GET HOME IT IS STARTING TO RAIN! GO FASTER!
10. John Mayer Say Almost there, just turn the corner (as you can see in the picture to the right) down a hill and up the hill to the house. That is it! Yay!!! Well my shoes ended up pretty well, not in a bad shape. My socks weren't too wet from the rain and the water on the ground. Thus, they don't have to dry out THAT much. Well I hope that you enjoyed my thoughts and where I go when I run. That was a shorter run than what I normally do. My thoughts are yes, very scattered when I run. I think just of random things, it is probably more interesting when I am stressed out or have things I need to think about.
