You have to love the holiday spirit right after Thanksgiving; the feeling, smells, sights, etc... but most importantly this year is going to be better than ever!! Why? Since the season started out right with the Cougs winning the APPLE CUP THIS YEAR!! This Christmas season with the Curtiss side will be extra fun ;)
But when I got back here in Pullman, I was sure in the holiday spirit, I even wore holiday socks (red and green). Unfortunately I won't be able to enjoy the holiday season until after the 7th. This next couple weeks are going to be a little chaotic for myself. Throughout this week I HAVE to be productive, there is no option. On Friday I am teaching my second micro lesson with my partner, Kyle. We are luckily getting together tonight to work on our lesson, however, we have yet to really establish any ground work for it (uh-oh)! But after this week is dead week at WSU, as an English major with a secondary education under my belt, that means that EVERYTHING, all of my finals which are papers and projects are due during dead week. That would be a week earlier that everybody else, which is two-fold. Unfortunately I have 9 projects/papers to finish up for next week. Yes, that would be 2 projects for three classes... HOW CRAZY!! Needless to say, hopefully you can see why I need to be locked in a room, by myself for the next two weeks. There will be little contact with the outside world.
When I get home I am really excited to relax (some-what) and see some people I haven't seen for a while. I got a call from one of my friends that I have known since 6th grade and it was a real suprise! It was great to hear from her. With some friends, even if you haven't talked to them in a while, you are able to pick up right where you left off and that is with Emilie. So we are going to be able to hang out when I get back to the west side (she is a Husky, I can rub it in)! I will also be helping with the high school youth group since the youth pastor fell off the roof of his house and is going to be down for a while.
Anyways, wish me good luck in the next couple weeks, I am going to definitely need it!

Hang in there Jen! We were obviously pretty bummed by the Apple Cup outcome. Scott's whole family was here for Thanksgiving and mine was back in Seattle at the game. Hope you keep up the energy to finish those classes - good thing you work at a coffee shop - you're going to need it! See you soon.
