There wasn't too much snow, but there was some on the side. And the lake was a little frozen over, however, it was just a pretty view UNTIL the clouds came. Yucky, gray clouds...
Just like that, they were just gross. I was getting tired, but I think was because it was such a dark and gloomy day, just knowing that I would end up in the snow was making it... oh so much worse. BUT... apparently I was spacking out because I lost Amber for a second... where did she go??
I just saw road ahead of me. The funny thing is she drives a YELLOW car, how could I miss her? On top of that, we met another friend in Ellensburg. We met him there because he didn't know we were headed back today so he called just to see what was going on, so then we just decided to make a caravan the rest of the way back to Pullman. So there were two cars infront of me, or supposed to be. I was just be-boppin' along to music when they disappeared.
Needless to say, I found them just a little farther infront of me. We made it back safely. When we arrived back in Pullman, there was still a little bit of snow, only on the side. But driving back in, the town is putting up Christmas lights in the trees and buildings and just had a feeling of Christmas coming in. Mistake number 2 of the day was when I decided to take a run, outside in the 29 degree weather. I just had so much energy from driving and being confined in the car for about 6 hours that I needed to do something. What better than taking a run? YEAH, BAD IDEA!!! I put on quite a few layers which makes it harder to run in... plus I covered just about every single part of my body except for my nose and face which was freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing.
Okay, that is the end of that exciting story of my adventure back to Pullman... I most likely left out the most exciting part.
As cheesy this sounds I want to just give thanks for some people in my life...
Mom and Dad who are my rocks in my life. I always know that I can count on them for ANYTHING. I am really thankful for a great relationship with them, I can talk to them and know that even when I do make mistakes that they love me no matter what.
Both grandma and grandpa's.... aunts and uncles... and cousins who are all assets in my life. I am really lucky to have extended family that care so much about me and interested in what is going on.
Justin and Evan, two friends that are so incredible... I love them so, so much! That is enough said, though.
Bubba, my brother. Even though he and I have had our share of fights and disagreements, I am so thankful for him in so many ways... probably more than he ever realizes.
Anyways, that is enough of that!! Happy late, Thanksgiving to everybody. The blog was a day late, but it is up for Thanksgiving now :) YAY!!
