Inspiration

A student wrote this song after she watched a video about the Holocaust in class. Thought I would share it.
They opened the gates and I couldn’t even see,
The man who took my life away from me,
What are you doing?
Where are from?
Look at this mess.
What have you done?
I’m walking dead, I can hardly breathe
I need not to show that I am weak
Someone rescue me

And I’ll cry out for you
And I’ll cry out from the mountains too
Take my hand right here today,
Only if we could just walk away

This is where I’m fallen,
This dirt will be my grave,
This is where I’m fallen,
I wish we could all be saved,

And I’ll cry out for you
And I’ll cry out from the mountains too
Take my hand right here today
Only if we could just walk away

If we could walk away from this place,
We could find out saving grace.
