Complete and Utter Chaos

This past week has been the longest, but yet, fastest week. Most of you know that I am a planner, especially with academics. I like being able to plan so I don't feel too overwhelmed, but currently I am experiencing something new: having to roll with the punches.

***UPDATE: I will give you the quickest version of the story: I am long-term subbing for Emerald Ridge, but I don't know for how long. I am starting the year out with the students on Wednesday; I offically found out on Friday. As of the moment, I do not know how many students I have or if I even have a classroom :) Today I have been working on the first day lesson plans and a junior and senior syllabi. Later this afternoon I am supposed to meet with a couple people, discussing more lessons and trying to get on the same page. ***

This past weekend I went and spent time with some of my good friends from WSU. It was so great being able to see them. I miss them a lot. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!

Recently graduated, poor college students play Rock Band until 3 am for fun. Why? No money to go out!
This is Brandon and I. We were laughing at Meggan because she couldn't take pictures. I think this was try number four or five, it was still blurry.

Kathleen (on the left) and Meggan (on the right) were making pizza for dinner. Meggan is getting married in July of 2010. Kathleen is one of seven bridesmaids (yes, I am also one).
Breakfast! Katie (left) is Meggan's (right) little sister. We are all very close. Katie is Meggan's maid of honor.

From left to right: Steph, Erica, Me, and Katie. We are four of seven bridesmaids trying on dresses. This is just one of many we tried on. But this is one of two that Meggan is deciding between.

Katie and I. We haven't taken a picture together before... we finally did!
This is another dress (the second Meggan likes). Obviously Katie isn't in the correct color, but those are the color of dresses Meggan wants us to wear. The orange on Erica's dress is the accent color Meggan wants to use in either our hair or sash like that.
