We were both sitting at the table working on homework. There was a bag of chips sitting next to us. Even at this moment, I am not too sure what possessed me to open up the bag and dump half of the bag on the table. Following that, Meggan started to eat them off the table. I really don't know what happened. But, there is the picture of evidence above.
On Sunday Meggan and I determined it was creative day. She had a poster to work on, and I had a grammar scrapbook to complete. I had already taken over the kitchen table on Friday. The table was covere in books and notebooks. But Sunday, it was being devoured by my scrapbook material.
Although the scrapbook may sound fun, but it was just a pain. And, although I disliked it, it was beneficial. I would like to do that with my future students. It helped me go through in-print papers, magazines, and other materials to analyze the grammar-- helping me understand the techincial grammatical errors. Also, a scrapbook requirement was to analyze pieces of writing we wanted to eventually mirror. It was really interesting. The point of this, after my tangent, is that I had the entire kitchen covered in scrapbook materials, and Meggan had the entire living room devoured as well. We are hoping that tomorrow while we pack, we can clean the apartment up a bit.
Anyways, as I am sitting here at the kitchen table, I only have one pile of books and a notebook. The pile is dimishing as my list gets longer of final packing, cleaning, and goodbyes.
