It is a sprint!

I was supposed to leave on Friday to go home, however, I woke up on Thursday and decided to go home instead that day. If I really wanted to go, I knew there would be a way- there was. I was able to get everything situated that I needed to before leaving in the morning. While at home, I had quite a bit of things to get done- a lot of odd ends but it was nice to be home. I swear, it is a sprint while there, not a marathon.

The main reason why I went home this past weekend was for Amber's wedding. Amber and Michael are high school sweethearts. I went to high school with Michael and met Amber (who went to the rival high school) at WSU at Zoe Coffeehouse. I definitely wanted to be home for this wedding. The wedding was supposed to be held outside on Saturday, as I am sure most of you knew it was a nasty Saturday so they moved it on inside; that is Washington for you!

This is a picture of the rain at the end of the street. I thought I would document how bad the weather was. I am not sure if you can actually see (thanks to the reflection), but I am sure you understand what I am trying to show.

I am waiting to Becca to show up. Her boyfriend was unable to make it, and my date was not able to make it either. We decided we would be each other's date. Becca took the wrong turn... I, by the way, found it on the first try! I am getting better with directions!

The wedding was pretty small, only about 100 people; that would be my estimate. The ceremony itself was short, about 15-20 minutes. But it definitely fit the personality of the couple. It was a gorgeous wedding, and of course, loved her dress. I wish I took a close up picture of it. I got a little side tracked with other stuff going on.

Michael and Amber dancing to their song. I like the expressions of the couple who are talking right below them. They look way too serious.

These are the original Zoe Coffeehouse girls (minus Amber who was outside taking pictures). Starting from the left: Alyssa, Monika, Me, and Becca.

It was nice to be home. Each time I wish that I could stay longer, however, there are 8 weeks and counting left! Sweet!
