The other day I was creating a playlist for a run that I was about to embark upon. Then I started thinking, while I ran, about a playlist for my life. If you created a playlist of what your life is, what would it be? I figured mine out, it might be just of who I am right now but I think this is what it should consist of:
Broken and Beautiful- Mark Shultz
Change- Taylor Swift
Somethin' Special- Colbie Caillat
Soulmate- Natasha Bedingfield
We Are Family- Jordan Pruitt
Whatever It Takes- Leona Lewis
Get Out of This Town- Carrie Underwood
Wheel of the World- Carrie Underwood
Champion- Flipsyde
For one reason or another, I picked those songs.
It has been a tad warm over here, like every other place around Washington. The heatwave has arrived, however, it should be leaving this week. This has been nice, I enjoy the heat, however, 104 degrees is a tad too warm- especially without air conditioning in the place of employment and at home. But, I reflect upon this time, remembering the June snow and the zero degree weather. My conclusion is that I would rather be baking in the heat.
Not much else is going on at the moment. Friends are coming back, which is nice. Last night I walked into Safeway, from the time I walked in to the time I checked out with a couple items for dinner, it took me about 45 minutes. It is nice seeing everybody and catching up. Classes do start in about a week. I saw an old professor who I had last semester at the gym today. He and I caught up quickly (you have to love seeing professors when you are working out), but since the Education college was going through credidation last year, some classes were being revamped. Well, my block was the first block to go through these classes, thus, have quite a bit to say about them. Matt, my old professor, asked me to help look through his class with him- to change and help plan a little. I asked if I could get a recommendation from him later (if I did an excellent job) and he said yes. And if you look his name up, he is well known and very respected in the education field. Needless to say, I am quite excited about it.
As for now... that is it...
