Crazy, Wacky... just plain speechless

I am just going to begin with some pictures from last night. While I was sitting in my room, looking outside I realized how blessed I am to have a spectular view for a sunset. Thus, I decided to snap some shots from my room. Looking at these two pictures I had a tiny bit of hope for Tuesday, that it was going to be a gorgeous day, a new beginning to the summer in Pullman. But I guess with the weird weather patterns around the U.S. I guess I shouldn't have been so optimistic.
As I fell asleep last night, relaxing before hand with a glass of wine, I was thinking how I could take a run in the morning before heading off to work. I had my window open so I could let a small breeze in. I was woken up at around 1:30 to gusts of wind, shaking my door and whistling around the townhouse. When I glanced outside to see the weather conditions, it was raining with wind. Okay, maybe I won't take a run in the morning.

I woke up to these clouds this morning. Very dark, very purplish. I can deal with more rain, I guess- if I have to. I don't really want to, I am sick and tired of this weather, but whatever.

As I am sitting, here at work I have a very sadden heart. Why one may ask, perhaps because it isn't rain that is coming down, it is SNOW. Yes my dear friends and family, it is snowing in June- in Pullman. The silver lining is that it is not sticking to the ground, however, the entire point is that it is snowing.

I called dad this morning to complain. When he picked up the phone the first words to come out of his mouth was, "is it snowing over there?!" Yes, yes it is. He guessed very well. I figured, hopefully, that today the temperature can only go up, keeping my fingers crossed I will continue on with Tuesday praying that the snow will leave this place. One bit of humor, my computer has the tempature gauge on it, it has a picture of a sun and 37 degrees on it. Maybe the 37 degrees is correct but I am thinking the sun is wrong.

It is hard to believe that it is June, however, you just witnessed a snowfall in June. Not too many people in Pullman can say that..
