Put together... sort of

Yesterday was another productive day! After I woke up I honestly did not feel like dealing with the rest of unpacking. I knew, however, that I needed to go to the old apartment, move the mattress and bed-frame, plus get some other odds and ends which I left there such as trashcans and cleaning supplies. My friend Alyssa has a SUV so she kind enough to help me move the big things that I cannot fit in the car. I had to laugh because I remember Brett and I moving his stuff on Halloween one year, we were trying to solve how to move his mattress, well bed all together. We discussed strapping it to the top of the car and have it flapping down the road while we hold it... oh good times. Alyssa and I had no problems moving the rest of it, once it was inside, she left because she had to finish cleaning out her old house and finish unpacking herself; there was no way for me to get out of it.

So it isn't exactly picked up all the way for the picture, but that is the main idea of that part of the room. I still have yet to put up any decorations, perhaps that is a good project for today after I am done working at Cafe Moro.

Yes, the walls look plain, ditto the comment above. That is the other part of the room. I told mom and dad if they come visit, they could blow up their air mattress in my bedroom, I would still have quite a bit of room left. It is nice to have a spacious room, especially coming from a closet of a room from last year.

I know this may not seem like an exciting picture, however, look above the sinks, what do you see? That is right, a medicine cabinet thing! (Please forgive the bag of trash in the corner of the picture). I finally figured out a good way arrange the living room. And yes, for the most part it is picked up and the tubs and boxes are nonexistent in this room! PHEW! At least one room is down...

Heading into the kitchen, but we have two other stops first...
Storage closet number 1 which can be turned into a coat closet. As of right now, there is only one item taking residence in there, the Swiffer.

Storage closet number 2! Yes there is a bedframe and many tubs which will be living there. As of right now, they are thrown in there carelessly but once I have unpacked everything, there will be a more logical way in which it will be placed in there... more organized.

Yes, the boxes are off of the floor, the kitchen supplies and food have finally been put away.

The back portion, which leads outside to the "backyard" which I can fit a couple chairs, but when I showed Alyssa she laughed at the backyard.
