... with the punches. Yesterday was a bit stormy here in the Palouse. It was rainy, windy, and cloudy pretty much all day. In the morning I had high hopes that it would clear off to be a beautiful day, however, no such luck. As I woke up this morning, I was thinking about running to the rec center since it is only about a mile away but to my dismay as I walked outside I got a little bit of a suprise... SNOW!! It isn't much, but there was enough to cover the ground and cars. It should melt today, but everybody thought we were done with it all- apparently not.
As I was looking at my register times for classes, it doesn't really hit you until you can't find anything else you HAVE to take; it is pretty crazy. I am only take two courses during the summer, maybe three, but we will see. Then for fall semester I only have five courses to complete and then student teaching. I am so glad that I can finally see the light- it is almost here! Cap and gown here I come, it is going to be so wonderful- oh, so wonderful.
A quick funny story about my hair. I was sitting in class yesterday, I was sitting next to Harmeling, the usual exchange of hello's, asked him about his foot etc... As we were sitting there listening to the professor, thanking us for a great 8 weeks of class (already half way through the semester!!!) Daven kept looking at me, giving me a weird look. I finally leaned over and said, I know I am pretty cute but you have to stop staring at me. He laughed and then he says, "Did you get your hair cut??" I of course said yes. He then explains how he was looking for the rest of my hair, if I had it in a ponytail or pushed back some place; apparently he was just confused.
