I never thought pavement would look so beautiful- but after not seeing it for awhile, it definitely looks pretty. The sun has come out, it has lifted my spirits and happiness level enormously. I am extremely glad that the weather has decided to grace us with a little sanity. There was a gorgeous sunset with pinks, oranges, yellows, and blue the other night. I took a picture with my phone however, the picture did not do the sunset any justice so I decided to delete it.
This past week, including the weekend I have been sick. I am finally feeling like my old self. I was doing okay with the sickness, whatever it was, until Tuesday and that is when it decided to turn for the worst. The symptoms included: my asthma acting up, a little bit of nasal problems, sore throat, cough, headache. Yes, it might sound a little like the flu but I felt fine- energy level. But, I just could could breathe well and could not swallow without it hurting- a lot. I wanted to make sure that I didn't have strep or anything else like that, I decided to go to Student of Death (aka Student Health). Student Health is notorious for not diagnosing and helping students correctly. Needless to say the doctor wanted to give me another inhaler and coating; I took neither. He also told me that I had a Viral Infection-- YAY. I just kept the fluids going down and took some medicine and now I feel much better. A bunch of illnesses are going around campus, my friends are dropping like flies.
This upcoming President's weekend I was just going to stay in Pullman, however, I realized that I could fly out after work on Saturday morning and still make a meaningful trip to the westside. I decided I am going to go home for the weekend, I think it is something needed. It will be a nice break from Pullman.
Anyways hope everybody has a Happy Valentines Day!!!

Oh how sweet to have such connections with the airline! I took a quick work trip on Monday (Seattle and back in 1 day), and was praising Horizen Air - love them! I'm also with you on the beauty of pavement. We hit a "spring-like" 50 degrees last weekend and can finally walk around without sliding again.
