Ice Age

These past couple days have been chaotic to say the least! I am going to hit one point which I have a picture for... Yesterday (Wednesday) I thought it was going to be a great day, without any bumps in the road. I walk outside, excited that it didn't snow and just blissfully on my way to school. Although I was running a tad behind, I didn't care I knew I would make it on time. Well Tuesday night when I got home from work there was a single spot left in the parking lot, I took it. That was a mistake to say the least. Down below are the tools in which I used to dig my car out of the ice. The car would not budge. I kept trying different things. I decided to keep chipping away at the ice... little at a time. People would walk by and laugh, one question was if YOU saw somebody struggling would you stop to help? This one really nice guy who walked out of the apartment building asked if I needed a push. I was so excited, thrilled to say the least. Afterwards I offered him a ride to campus since I wasn't going to make it to class. I took him to work, where he was headed, to the Vet. School. Anyways, after that my day wasn't bad, much better than the day before- which was thrilling. I had the first meeting for student-teaching which in the end we found out, basically, that we are going to be paying a lot of money within the month of Feb.
The picture above is a little difficult to see what it is, basically it is the side of the road which is snow. Bad news, it snowed last night. Good news, it is starting to melt today- a lot. Supposedly this weekend it is going to be getting into the 40's which means the snow will melt (YAY) however, that means there is going to be a bunch of standing water and flooding. Either way, with standing water and all, I am excited that we are out of storm watch mode. Hopefully the weather will turn around!
