Snow Day for WSU

This morning I woke up at 4:30 like any other morning, I take a peek outside and to my suprise SNOW! Not just a little, but we are talking at least 2 feet of snow. All students of U of I and WSU know now what it takes to cancel the universities: 2 feet of snow and counting. I was walking up B Street, for those of you that know what that is like, well, you understand but when I reached the top I recieved a phone call from my friend Danielle informing me that classes are no longer taking place today.

This both of my roommates before the three of us were headed out to battle the blizzard of snow. We all had to get bundled up, layers of socks, tops, pants, hats, and more! We all looked like Ralphie's little brother in Christmas Story, barely able to move!

There is Megan getting ready to throw a snowball at me. I am not sure if anybody can tell but if you look hard enough you might be able to see how deep the snow really is.

This is me after getting home from walking up B Street and back down. Just a little snow, even on the hair. I am happy that there is no school today. My friend Keeley and I are about ready to walk to the store. Perhaps we will have a snowball fight or sled today at some point. But I really want to try and catch up, get a head of school work. We will see if that actually happens. I will try to take more pictures, so there might be more than just one blog today.

Jen,

You looked crazed in the last picture. I know you don't like the snow but it couldn't have been that bad. Hope you are doing well and staying out of trouble. Good luck with the boys!!! Take care!
