The Fire is SO Delightful

Last night on my way to Kyle's to work on our lesson for Friday, just like Monday, it started to snow. I was so excited that I called mom and dad to let them know. It didn't snow too much, but it is still outside and the high for today is, I think the weatherman said 30 degrees! So truly, the fire place at work is quite delightful.


I took some pictures yesterday while I was working of some coffee art that I created for fun...

You can make of it as you will. I think it kind of looks like a flower of some sort. Kind of... a customer was really excited about it!

If you look really closely it is a heart. Just practicing for when Valentines Day roles around... And as for this one, well I really have no comment on it. Perhaps it is a flame from the fire (ha, ha).
I just thought I would share those with you all.
Tomorrow is team teaching with Kyle. We are both super excited, however, the beginning we have a script of what to say because we are "acting" it out. As we were going through it last night, it was extremely hard for us not to laugh and smile, to keep it serious so it will be believable. We are going work on it again tonight after I am done with class... this is the rough draft of the beginning script. The lesson is going to be point of view. So the disagreement is that we have different view points of how to run the class and team teaching...

Jen: Well class, today is Friday, is anybody doing anything exciting this weekend? (Let a few students reply)
I am actually doing something I have always wanted to do, even though I am scared of heights, I am facing my fear feet first and I am going to head out this weekend to go skydive with my fiancé.

Kyle: Response to skydiving. Wow, skydiving. Well that’s absolutely terrifying. The highest I’ve ever been has been in Disney World on Splash Mountain and that was scary!

<Awkward pause>

Kyle: Alright well…

Jen: Mr. Kendall, wait what are you doing this weekend… something that you want to keep from the class

Kyle: Well actually (INSERT something)…

Kyle: Well, Ms. Curtiss why don’t you start us off for today and let us know what we are learning…

Jen: Start going over LT’s


Kyle: Jen, those aren’t the right ones

Jen: Yeah, they are

Kyle: No, they don’t include the history, it only includes English.

Jen: Today isn’t about history, it’s about English, we discussed this but apparently you weren’t listening like always.

Kyle: Ms. Curtiss this isn’t what we talked about, you are now doing your own thing like all semester and I have been biting my tongue, but now this is just ridiculous

Jen: Wait, hold your horses. What you don’t realize is that you have not been listening to me this entire semester, so I had to take the situation in my own hands. It is because I am a women and you are a male and you are “always right.” (Whatever…)

Kyle: Wait, wait if you remember correctly Principal Rochester gave me this project and I was supposed to choose an assistant. I picked you, you need to listen to me, we need to talk about history today!

Jen: Hold up there mister! This is a partnership, NOT dictatorship!!



Kyle: I completely agree… class this is what we actually are learning today…

It may not seem relevant when you guys are reading it, but it is. I guess to understand it better I should put up the lesson plan, however, it is still the rough draft form as well. So perhaps tomorrow... But if you want to watch something that is (I think at least) is amussing go to:
